Motivated by the craftsmanship of fine furniture and influenced by the demands of modern-day life, Ben J. Dykstra – Furnituremaker builds custom designed, exceptional kitchens that hold up to the demands of today and add immense value to your home.

Your kitchen will have the appearance of fine crafted furniture while offering all the functionality of contemporary life using new technology in hardware, construction and accessories.

Because the kitchens that we build are made from scratch, not pre built or pre programmed boxes that most cabinetmakers use, any design or special application is possible.

For the design process we can design it ourselves, through your architect or interior designer.  Send us by fax or email a proposed project drawing.  Once the drawing has been reviewed, we can send you a preliminary (ballpark) quote.  If we fall within your budget we can then complete a detailed drawing and give you a more accurate quote.  Once the contract has been signed, the kitchen will be placed into the production schedule.  We will then provide additional specific details into your kitchen, such as finish samples, specs on appliances and design details.

We will require a final sign off date on the design drawings for the schedule, however until actual fabrication the design is a work in progress and can be modified.

We design, build, finish and install your kitchen cabinets and therefore make the process flow smoothly and keep the quality at the highest standards.  Items such as structural, plumbing, electrical and flooring will be the responsibility a licensed contractor or subcontractors.

A new kitchen can be an exciting experience.  We thoroughly enjoy the process and can guide and assist you with your project.  Be creative, think outside the box and you will be rewarded with a kitchen that is timeless.

We would love to hear about your project.  If you have any questions or would like to discuss your project please visit our Contact Us page or give us a call at 206.799.1993 and ask for Ben.

Sincerely,

Ben Dykstra
